This website was produced by the Center for Early Detection, Assessment, and Response to Risk (CEDAR) in conjunction with Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) Psychiatry & Adolescent Medicine, the Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Project (MCPAP) and the Prevention Collaborative.
It was designed to help providers working with teenagers & young adults to learn the common indicators of early psychosis, understand how best to communicate about psychosis and identify when and how to route them to appropriate care services.

This series of workshop materials, focused on cognitive behavioral therapy for early psychosis, was developed by Douglas Turkington, MD specifically for NAMI Marin. Douglas Turkington is a major research figure within the history of the development of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for schizophrenia.
