Daniel Mathalon, PhD, MD

Executive Director 

Dr. Daniel Mathalon (he/him) is a psychiatrist who cares for patients who have recently developed or are at high risk of developing psychosis.

Demian Rose, MD, PhD

Medical Director

Dr. Demian Rose (he/him) is a psychiatrist whose focus is caring for patients suffering from adolescent-onset cognitive and sensory processing decline. He has a primary interest in applying concepts of cognitive neuroscience (the study of nervous system processes involved in comprehension) to their care. He is also the Director of the Path Program Extension Clinic.

Shoshana Green

Therapist

Shoshana Green (she/hers) is a licensed marriage and family therapist who cares for young patients experiencing the early onset of perceptual and cognitive changes that impact their daily lives. She provides individual, group and family psychotherapy for adolescents and young adults, as well as their families. She has a special interest in helping patients cultivate resilience and heal from the traumatic marginalization and internalized societal stigma that can accompany mental health issues.

Whitney LaForge

Therapist

Whitney LaForge is a social worker who specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy for patients experiencing early psychosis.  She earned her master's degree in social work from Boston College.

Devanand Manoli, MD, PhD

Attending Child Psychiatrist

Dr. Devanand Manoli (he/his) is a psychiatrist who specializes in caring for children and adolescents. With a background in neuroscience, he has expertise in understanding social behaviors in terms of the activity of the neural circuits that mediate social behavior, and in the context of psychiatric illness.

In his research, Manoli seeks to understand social attachment, using molecular and genetic approaches to study its neural basis throughout development and in the context of environmental and genetic factors that are associated with neuropsychiatric disorders.

Chris Perry

Clinical Program Coordinator

Chris Perry (she/hers) is a marriage and family therapist who provides individual and group therapy to patients who are experiencing or at risk for psychosis and to her patients' families. She offers information, assessments and recommendations to families as well as to other care providers interested in early psychosis treatment.

Vikaas Sohal, MD, PhD

Attending Psychiatrist

Dr. Vikaas S. Sohal (he/his) is a psychiatrist who provides after-hours care for patients needing medication management for a variety of psychiatric conditions. He also supervises medical residents in a clinic for patients with early psychosis.

Dr. Sohal directs a neuroscience laboratory that investigates the brain circuits involved in psychiatric disorders.
