Local support resources

We've identified a few other early psychosis programs and community mental health resources in the San Francisco Bay Area.  If you or someone in your life is in crisis, call or text 988 for immediate support. 


Early psychosis programs in the Bay Area:

  • Felton (re)MIND: Offers early intervention and treatment for youth and young adults who are experiencing the recent onset of schizophrenia and other psychotic disorder
  • First Hope - Contra County Health Services: An outpatient treatment program for young people experiencing early psychosis and their families
  • Inspire Clinic at Stanford Medicine: Offers person-centered care for people experiencing psychosis
  • REACH (Raising Early Awareness & Creating Hope): Providing prevention and early intervention services for individuals ages 10-25 years old who are at risk for or experiencing early psychosis
  • SOAR (Supportive Outreach & Access to Resources): Offers support to help reduce and manage symptoms of early psychosis so individuals may succeed in education, careers and relationships

Community mental health resources

The following programs are accessible to those covered by MediCal or who are uninsured.

  • San Francisco Acess Line: Provides information about referrals to all comunity-based programs
    • Call 415-255-3737
       
  • Crisis stabilitization for teens (ages 5-17 years old): Offers support to for youth and teens, ages 5-17 years old, who are experiencing a psychiatric crisis in San Francisco and neighboring counties in the Bay Area who need immediate crisis evaluation and stabilization services
  • Alameda County Behavioral Health Support Services: Offers mental health and substance use treatment services
